Ordinary maintenance, ten-year and twenty-year checks, revisions
Mandatory Regular Servicing
Casella Manut.Service Srl, offers a complete annual program of regular servicing (3 quarterly checks plus 1 annual one) on gantry cranes, jib cranes, underhooks and any kind of lifting system, in order to ensure safety requirements.
Ten-year and Twenty-year checks
For CE marked equipment:
an exceptional check must be done 10 years after putting into service the equipment in compliance with Norma Fem 9.755 (S.W.P.). During the period of use of the equipment, all the services planned in the user’s book must be done.
For Non CE marked equipment:
an exceptional check must be done 20 years after putting into service the equipment. Ordinary and extraordinary servicing must be done at the frequency written in the user’s book.
Inspection
When 90% of the duration of use has been reached, the user must provide a generale review. This inspection allows to increase the life of the equipment and to improve its efficiency and reliability.
A general inspection provides for non-destructive testing or replacement of the following components:
- - Lifting brake
- - Gearboxes
- - Engine
- - Rope drum
- - Gear oil
- - Connecting elements
- - Switching elements
The continuation of use will be allowed when the expert technician certifies the necessary conditions.
The inspection:
- - must not modify the original features of the equipment (data, sizing, constructive values, etc...);
- - does not involve changing in the intended use of the equipment.
